i've kept this journal since the day after i broke up with my first serious boyfriend (april of 2001), i had just turned 18, discovered mary timony and a cat on a hot tin roof and i changed my life. as you can imagine, whoever "you" are, this journal is very precious to me. it holds so many secrets that i don't remember and so many words that i am still floored by. some of it teeters on the edge of banality, other times it's me taking myself too seriously, but mostly it's truth. you'd think i'd be able to write millions of words about myself and my livejournal what with the dozens of self-loving personal websites i made (ala eccentrica.org and angelfire.com) in the late nineties, but this is kind of uncomfortable. i feel the need to always explain myself in minute detail, as i always feel people don't fully get who i am and what i stand for, and that's my biggest fear, being misunderstood even in the slightest. i'm not super nice but i'm not a really big bitch either. that's about as broad as i'll get when on the subject of myself. i value the small things more than anything else and i hold close many moments that other's might forget immediately.

i'm an exceptional judge of character, and super observant. i am however, not exceptional at communication as my brain seems to jumble up my words whenever there happens to be something important to be discussed, so i've adapted to reading people through body language and other non-verbal communication, aka i get "vibes." i have a phenomenal memory for the mundane things most people don't notice, like clothes you've worn, things you've said in passing, etc.

my passion encompasses everything i do, and if your passion doesn't match mine, don't expect to get much of a positive response from me. apathy is the enemy i plan to squash out of everyone.
